We are Scottish Quality Assured Beef breeders.
We joined the above scheme just after it was first launched.
The main reason for doing so was to be able to sell to a market that knows they will get good quality beef.
We as suppliers need to be able to help drive the assurance forward for Scotland to enable us to sell to our European counterparts.
The Europeans know that they are buying quality from Scotland as we adhere to tight regulations and checks from the Scottish quality meat board.
We have not been disappointed at the sale of any beast we have taken to market.
Our animals are highly sought after and we get a more than fair price for them.
We also have a Registered Creag-Mhor
North Country Cheviot Flock NCH292.
We purchased a small foundation flock of three North County Cheviot hoggs in Oct 2005.
Since then we have breed them with a Balnakeil Ram.
Our ewes have produced fit & fine offspring.
The rams have not been castrated they will go to the sales in the future.
The mothers have showed well up to present one was bestowed with the overall sheep champion title twice in two years.
