For those of you who like a good walk there are plenty of places to visit.

"The Circular Walk"
A short walk from Mallaig to Mallaig Bheag approx 2 Miles long walking time approx 1 hour.

"Loch an Nostarie Circular Walk"
Approx 41/2 miles a longer than the Circular walk skirting the shores of a hill loch.

" The Stoul Path"
Approx 5 miles a very popular but a relativly hard long walk.
"Ben Nevis"
For those of you feeling a lot more energetic there is also Ben Nevis.
The dramatic effect of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, is emphasised by the fact that it begins its rise from sea-level on the shores of Loch Linnhe, to tower 4,406ft (1,344m) above the town of Fort William, providing an almost paternal presence.
Below are some photographs we took from the summit in 2006, it was one of the only clear days of the year.
It is a breath taking view when there are no clouds in sight.
